Writing on Wrongblog?

This project has gone on for four years. It’s been a lot of fun and there have been many wonderful posts by a ton of great bloggers!

All good things seem to get spoiled by spammers. I have closed registrations to Wrongblog. If you are registered on Wrongblog, you will be able to write. But, if your post is full of links for profit and to a website that has nothing to do with blogging, I’m going to delete it.

Everyone who is registered is more than welcome to write about whatever you want – rants, humor, random thoughts. Please sign your posts and leave a link to your blog and let everyone kn ow who you are, that’s great! But since I have been overwhelmed with pending posts by robots and spammers I have no choice but to close the site to newcomers.

If you would like to become a part of Wrongblog, you can always email me admin(at)wrongblog(dot)com and I will set up a profile for you and send you login details.

All the Best,
Wolfbernz

  1. Removing public registrations is a sensible move I think, although it is slightly more time consuming needing to email to have an account set up. Would it be possible to create an online contact form where you could just manually approve sign ups? All the best.

  2. We have tried this in the past and it take to much time.
I am not sure what I am going to do with this blog at the moment.
I am going to leave it like it is for now and all the registered users may write here but the spam posts became out of control.
Stop back by and check it out I am going to make some changes
