I know I haven’t been posting as often as I have been. The Dump has kept me quite busy lately.
It was a great day in Delaware today, a nice breeze – the humidity was lower – that makes it nice.
I am finally finished with the bedroom and bath remodel job I have been working on – Yeah! I will be going back to the beach for a couple of days and then I won’t go back to work there until everyone goes home. It’s too crowded at the Delaware and Maryland beaches this time of year.
The bay marie sandwich station crapped out again… more fun at the coffee shop! It stopped cooling properly so the big funny today was: “We have toasted cheese sandwiches and soup.”
The regulars are very creative how many ways can you have a cheese sandwich! Everytime somebody came in and looked at the board, everyone would look at Trina and bust out laughing. Then she would say, “I have grilled cheese and a grilled cheese… grilled cheese on white, wheat, or rye bread with your choice of Swiss, Provolone, or white American cheese.” Trina turned the bay marie off and then turned it back on and it started working again. Go figure now that the day is over! The repair man is coming tommorow but as we all know it won’t act up when he is here. If nothing else we had a good laugh today. I think laughter keeps us sane. It seems as though there is always good entertainment around here.
