OMG I posted on how many blogs?

Hello from shirleytwofeathers! Here’s what I’ve been posting recently. At Mandala Madness, there was this awesome desktop wallpaper:

A lovely desktop wallpaper for your enjoyment.
Blessings!

To download, click the image to enlarge it. Then right click the image, select “save picture”. Save the picture to your “My Pictures” folder. To set it as wallpaper, open your “My Pictures” folder, right click on the mandala image and choose “set as background”. Enjoy!

And then over at As Within, today we have this beautiful image and inspirational thought.

A billion stars go spinning through the night, blazing high above your head. But in you is the presence that will be, when all the stars are dead.

~Rainer Maria Rilke

On One Cool Picture After Another, this is the silliness that begins today’s post:

It’s a Thunderstorm Balloon sculpture.

The question we have been contemplating at Question of the Day is this:

“If you had a magic wand for a day, what would you do?” That’s the question asked at Magic Wand Book. The answers will be compiled into a book. So, I thought, let’s answer that question here, and then take our answers and submit them over on her site. How about it?

But wait! That’s not all!

I’ve also been actively posting on: My Work at Home Job, Sell Art Online, The Prosperity Project, and My Zaadz Blog. How do I keep up with them all? I have no idea! But I’m going to go take a nap now!

  1. The billion stars picture is breath taking. As a Norwegian, it reminds me of the midnight sun; you know, in the summer time when the sun never goes down:-)

The Thunderstorm Balloon picture actually reminds me of a glacier of which we also have some of in Norway.

    Thanks for sharing!

  2. At first I thought the baloon picture was a Giant Mushroom Ice Sculpture… don’t ask lol

To answer the question, “If you had a magic wand for a day, what would you do?” I think I would wake up and wave it once and stand back as a white tornado cleans my house like it’s never been cleaned before. Then I would walk outside and *poof* the front yard and down the lane would be a beautifully manacured lawn with perfectly planted flowers in perfect planters. Then I would walk right up to the telephone pones and *poof* DSL and Cable lines would be run to my house. Followed by a very loud *pow* as the satelitte dish expoldes into a million pieces (I have no issues wiht MY Satelite internet)

I gotta stop there cause the possibilities of a magic wand are endless, gosh I could really have fun with that thing for a whole day! LOL

  3. Thanks for commenting! Actually I think the billion stars picture was taken at the north pole and is indeed a picture of the midnight sun. It is breathtaking isn’t it? I wish I could have been there to see it!

As for the silly balloon sculpture. When I saw it, my first thought was that it was someone’s photoshop effort gone horribly awry! LOL!

Trina I love what you would do with that wand. My answer was altruistic and not nearly as fun sounding as yours!

  4. Wow!!! While viewing your blog (the wonderful photos) I have sensed myself touched by the magical wand.
You asked “If you had a magic wand for a day, what would you do?”
That’s so easy to answer. If I have a magic wand, my address will become the address of your blog.
    Thank you
