Michael Reagan Blasts Obama For Skipping his Stepmom, Nancy’s, Funeral

In what we can only assume is only a deliberate intent to insult the Republican party, the White House has announced that President Obama won’t be at the funeral of former First Lady Nancy Reagan.
That’s just Wrong!
The president will be too busy hanging out with all the Hollywood elites, tech influencers, and godless liberals at Austin’s South By Southwest festival. Instead of participating or just attending the funeral of our President’s wife.
The last of the classy ladies in office in my opinion.

Obama’s decision drew fire from Ronald Reagan’s son, Michael Reagan.

Political commentator Michael Reagan slammed President Barack Obama for not planning to attend the funeral of his stepmother, Nancy Reagan, on Friday — Telling all that “it seems that Barack Obama has never learned the right thing to do.”

“It would’ve been nice if he would’ve honored Nancy and been there, but I’m not surprised again,” Reagan, the eldest son of Mrs. Reagan and President Ronald Reagan, told the news media “Imagine if Nancy were a Democrat, liberal — or if Ronald Reagan was, he probably would be there.

“Sometimes, there’s a right thing to do,” he told the media “Whether you agree with something or not, sometime it’s just the right thing to do. He just keeps on missing the ball on that one.”

President Obama will be attending the South by Southwest Interactive Festival in Texas. First Lady Michelle Obama and former Democratic first lady Hillary Clinton will attend Nancy Reagan’s funeral.

Michael is wrong. Obama knows the right thing to do, he simply chooses not to do it.

On the other hand, remember Obama taking “selfies” at Nelson Mandela’s funeral? Maybe it is just as well he is absent.
After all we don’t want to be embarrassed anymore than necessary by Obama.

This is the second prominent conservative funeral Obama has avoided in the last few weeks. He also skipped out on services for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and sent Vice President Joe Biden in his place.

The only thing that will get Obama to a funeral is if there’s some racial hostility to be gathered from it. If it was the funeral for Rev. Wright or Louis Farrakhan, Obama would close down the federal government.

If they really want Obama there, hold the funeral on a golf course. Maybe pebble beach.
